Saša and Janja, who go by the artistic name SAJAN, are a creative tandem and a married couple. They have chosen a sustainable and creative path in everyday life. By exploring the social pressures and potentials in living spaces, their (art)work is  frequently a reflection of the environmentally problematic: the  intensively cultivated, sterilely unified, unnatural living environment. They perceive the narrow living space as a "third skin", which is reflected both in their everyday presence and their creative performance. Their artistic collaboration is in some way subtle conversation happening in (re)arranging micro- and macro elements into energetic structures, levels and patterns. The stories that have emerged from the simplicity of everyday life and woven themselves into the search of one’s own essence intertwine in their mosaics and other artistic compositions. They often include wood, clay and various other natural and recycled materials, as well as other constructional materials in their works, forming them into larger spatial artistic elements (earth walls, columns, etc.), which attend the story of the space – whether by reflecting a subtle inner experience, spicing it up with an emphasis on the forms and phenomena of nature, or by gently connecting spatial fragmentation.
